    You've not said if this is a new install? (ie. this is your first boot?), or its an install you've been using awhile? thus changes made during the prior session are critical but you've not said what those were? You mention a GPU which isn't normally used on servers, so have you added desktop packages (thus changed a server install to a desktop install?) which can change defaults but you've given no details of these (esp. changes made last session).
