tripwire segmentation fault
Kernel: 5.8.0-31-generic x86_64 bits: 64 compiler: gcc v: 10.2.0 Desktop: i3 4.18

tripwire works fine on VM but segfaulted on host see below:

Segmentation fault when installing tripwire on Ubuntu 20.10
I am trying to install tripwire on Ubuntu 20.10. I have tried to install it with
sudo apt install tripwire
And then I've followed the usual steps outlined here. That gives me:
$ sudo tripwire --init
...
