I have uninstalled current version of software and tried to install older version to check an issue, I am getting "Service Already exists, please manually uninstall any previous installations or run installer with migration option" error in ubuntu machine. I checked is there service available using sudo systemctl status , and it wasn't. So please help me to resolve this issue. I am not sure where that message is coming from.

Version of Ubantu : 20.04.6 LTS How app installed : We had .install file, used that to install the application How it removed: It had inbuilt command simillar to sytemctl. Used that to uninstall

Note: I forgot to stop the service before uninstalling.
